A voice assistant that speaks Polish — and understands.
You speak an ordinary sentence, and Mimi carries out the command on your phone. No rigid commands, no phrases to memorise. In Polish, with Polish inflection and Polish dates.
The app is awaiting release. As soon as it appears in the App Store, the button will start working.
In short
- Over thirty kinds of commands — calendar, contacts, navigation, notes, music, health
- Works in CarPlay: say “hey Mimi” and speak without taking your hands off the wheel
- Health data never leaves the device
- No account, no sign-up, no server of ours
- A one-time purchase, no subscription for the core features
Say what you need. Mimi handles the rest
Mimi does not search the internet for you — it works inside your phone. Below is what it does most often.
Calendar and reminders
Saves meetings, moves them, cancels them and reads out your day. It understands “next Tuesday”, “in two hours” and “tomorrow morning”.
“Schedule a meeting with Anna on Tuesday at 10”
Calls and messages
Calls someone from your contacts, writes a text message, an iMessage, a WhatsApp or a Telegram message. It finds the number itself.
“Text Dad that I'll be half an hour late”
Navigation and places
Sets a route in Maps, finds a pharmacy or petrol station nearby and tells you where you are.
“Navigate to Kraków” · “Where's a pharmacy around here?”
Notes
Saves, reads, appends to and searches notes in Mimi's own store — without leaving the conversation.
“Save a note: birthday ideas”
Timers and alarms
A timer for the eggs, a morning alarm, a reminder to take your medication. With its own alarm sound.
“Set a timer for eight minutes”
Contacts
Finds a number or an address, adds a new person and corrects the details of an existing one.
“What's Krysia's number?”
Music
Controls playback in Apple Music and Spotify — play, pause, next track, search for an artist.
“Play something calm on Spotify”
Health and activity
Reads steps, heart rate and calories burned from the Health app, starts and ends a workout.
“How many steps have I done today?”
Photos and documents
Takes a photo, searches your library, creates text files and PDFs in Mimi's documents folder.
“Take a photo” · “Make a PDF with the shopping list”
Apps and shortcuts
Opens apps on your phone and runs your own shortcuts from the Shortcuts app — including the ones that change settings themselves.
“Open YouTube” · “Run the Home shortcut”
How to get started
The whole setup is one key to paste. It takes a few minutes and you do it once.
You do not have to configure anything up front. Mimi tells you what it is missing when you try to use a feature that needs it.
- 1
Go through the welcome screen
On first launch Mimi explains what it does with your data and asks for consent to process your commands. Without that consent it sends nothing anywhere.
- 2
Paste your Anthropic API key
Create an account at console.anthropic.com, go to API Keys, create a key and paste it into Mimi. The “Check key” button tells you straight away whether it works.
- 3
Tap the microphone and speak
In an ordinary sentence, no set phrases. Mimi answers out loud and carries out the command. Permissions — calendar, contacts, location — are requested only when the first command needs them.
- 4
Tune it to your liking
In Settings you can turn on listening for the “Mimi” wake word, choose the Claude model, switch speech recognition to offline mode and connect Telegram.
CarPlay — without touching the phone
Once the car is connected, Mimi starts listening on its own. You say “hey Mimi”, give the command, and hear the answer through the car speakers. No text appears on the screen to read — the screen is for the road, not for sentences.
- Wake-word listening runs entirely on the device, with no audio sent anywhere
- Answers are read out loud, not displayed
- Mimi opens navigation, calls and apps on the car screen
- In-car listening can be turned off with a single switch
Why you need your own key
Mimi understands commands thanks to Anthropic's Claude model. Instead of adding a margin on top of a subscription, we let you pay Anthropic directly — for exactly as much as you actually use.
You pay only for your own usage
A typical command costs a fraction of a grosz. With normal use that comes to a few zlotys a month — and you see it in your own Anthropic console.
We are not in the middle of the billing
The key is yours, the account is yours, the invoice goes from Anthropic to you. We see neither your requests nor your bills.
You choose the model
A faster, cheaper one for everyday commands or a stronger one for complex ones. You switch it in Settings whenever you want.
Your data stays with you
Mimi has no account, no server and no database on our side. We collect nothing about you — not because we promise not to, but because there is nowhere to put it.
Privacy policy- ▸The content of your command goes to the Claude model — on your own API key
- ▸Readings from the Health app never leave the device at all
- ▸The API key and tokens sit in the phone's Keychain, not in an ordinary settings file
- ▸Listening for the “Mimi” wake word works offline only
- ▸No ads, no analytics, no cross-app tracking
- ▸One button in Settings erases all Mimi data from the device

Frequently asked questions
How is Mimi different from Siri?
Mimi is designed for Polish: it understands inflection, Polish dates and natural sentences rather than a list of commands. It does not replace Siri — it works alongside it, as a separate app that you open or start by voice in the car.
Do I need an Anthropic account?
Yes. Mimi uses the Claude model on your own API key, so you pay for actual usage instead of a subscription with a margin on top. Creating an account and generating a key takes a few minutes, and the app walks you through it step by step.
How much does it cost to use?
You buy the app once in the App Store. For understanding your commands you pay Anthropic directly — with daily use that is usually a few zlotys a month. We take no commission on that and we do not see your bills.
Does Mimi work without the internet?
Wake-word listening and speech recognition can work offline, but understanding a command requires a connection to the Claude model. Without the internet Mimi says plainly that it cannot answer right now.
What exactly do you send to Anthropic?
The content of the command and the context of the last few utterances. If you ask about a contact, a route or an email, the request may include the data needed to carry it out. Readings from the Health app are excluded from this and never leave the device.
Does Mimi read my messages and emails?
No. Mimi helps you write and send them, but it does not browse your inbox or your conversation history. Telegram is the exception: if you buy that integration and connect your own bot, Mimi will read out messages sent to that bot when you ask.
What is the Telegram integration?
It is an add-on on a monthly subscription. It lets you send and receive messages through your own Telegram bot without opening the app — mainly useful in the car. Opening chats and Telegram calls work without a subscription.
How do I delete my data?
In Mimi's Settings, under “Your data”, a single command erases the conversation history, notes, settings and the API key and tokens. We make it a separate button because Keychain entries on their own survive uninstalling the app.
