Most often the API key is missing or has stopped working. Open Mimi Settings and tap “Check key” — the message tells you what is wrong. If the key was rejected, generate a new one at console.anthropic.com. Check too whether your Anthropic account has funds.

Create an account at console.anthropic.com, go to API Keys and create a new key. Copy it straight away — it is shown only once. Then paste it into Mimi Settings and tap “Check key”.

In iOS Settings → Mimi, check whether access to the microphone and speech recognition has been granted. If it has and the problem remains, close the app and open it again — that releases the audio session held by another app.

Wake-word listening works offline only and requires the Polish dictation model to be downloaded. You download it in iOS Settings → General → Keyboard → Dictation. Listening works while the app is open, and in the car also while the phone is locked.

Speak in full sentences and give a reference point: “next Tuesday at ten” works better than just “Tuesday”. If the command is complex, switch to a stronger Claude model in Settings — it handles tricky dates noticeably better.

This is a matter of system permissions. iOS Settings → Mimi shows the list of granted access. Calendar and Reminders require full access, not write-only — otherwise Mimi cannot read existing entries.

In iOS Settings → General → CarPlay, check whether Mimi is on the list of apps visible on the car screen. Once the car is connected, Mimi starts listening for the wake word on its own — you can switch that off in Mimi Settings, under Speech.

You need your own bot: message @BotFather on Telegram, create a bot and copy the token into Mimi Settings. Then add contacts as name → chat_id pairs; you find your own chat_id by messaging @userinfobot. The recipient must send /start to your bot first. Automatic sending and reading require an active subscription.

In Mimi Settings, under Telegram, tap “Restore purchases”. The purchase is tied to your Apple ID, so it comes back after changing phones too — provided you sign in to the same account.

Mimi Settings → Your data → “Delete all Mimi data”. This erases the conversation history, notes, settings and the API key and tokens from the Keychain. We make it a separate button because Keychain entries survive uninstalling the app.
